Geeta Sharma Vet quality of radiograph is not so good. but the sewing needle is visible. owners were reluctant to get the dog operated.surprisingly, the needle moved out after two days with the stool.

    • Geeta Sharma Vet Dr. Banga, gd mng, normally it should be removed surgically asap, to prevent the movement of needle to other vital organs

    • Neelam Singh Josan ur success depends mainly on the position of the needle.even after operating in some cases the dog might not b able to make it if the damages r lethal.if u r able to get the history out of the owner rightly, most of the times we have to do the guesswork & the owner will finally give his exclamations!!!!! MY GOD! HOW did he get that ???

    • Swarupmay Majumdar removing a needle from intestine vs stomach , which is easier?

    • Elena Madgliani i rally think the stomach is better because you can even do an endoscopy but if u must... and it is a sharp object take it out wherever it is...

    • Darko Nikolovski Yep, I've heard that sharp objects like needles come out with feces without making any damage
