Copper sulphate poisoning

Swarupmay Majumdar A 2month 15 days old puppy is bought to clinic today with H/O ingesting CUSO4 accidentally just 2 hrs back. He has vomited continously. T-102.2* F, dehyration moderate. Not able to walk, no fits or seizures, puppy very active although. TX: RL 150ml IV< class="text_exposed_show" style="display: inline; ">ked the owner to wait & observe for any anuria,seizures,bleeding in stool.At leaving,the puppy is fine. I will update in case any more informations keep coming.

    • Swarupmay Majumdar it causes nothing, just cuses immediate vomiting. if gone inside stomach it may cause seizures in some cases. symptomatic treatments to overcome Dehyration and gastric protectants are line of tx.
