Growing pains

Saurabh Saxena hi all , a very important issue of growing pains in medium and large breed pups up to one yr of age,thickening at joint region in forelimb.how to treat that ??need everyones expert views

    • Saurabh Saxena i knw the scientific terms and the treatment methodology but now ppl keeping large breed pets in small apartment houses ,the prob has increased multifold and no much greenery /garden avl.,so less exercise etc .is there any new /innovative tratment avl for treating large breed dogs with joint/bone growth disorders???

      ‎1. manage weight, up to first 1.5 yrs keep restricted feeding.
      2. feed many times a day in in small quantity.
      3. Avoid excess of calcium
      4. start early with joint supplements or lubricants
