Wobbler' s syndrome

Manish Kumar as i asked earlier their is a pup around 2 mnths old,dewormed,vaccinated, normal feeding n defecation r.t. is nrmal too but have no control over body... wat shd b suspected n wat shd b d line of treatment?

    • Premal Darji what do u mean by no control over the body???..cannot walk or is paralytic..if yes what parts.??what about the reflexes??? pls explain indetail..

    • Manish Kumar DOCS. THEIR IS INCORDITION IN MOVEMENT ESPECIALLY FROM HIND LIMBS..HE CAN WALK BUT LIKE A DRUNKED ONE..REFLEXES ARE NORMAL..NO WEAKNESS BUT HAVE NO CONTROL ON BODY MOVEMENT

    • Premal Darji hope its not HD, get an xray done, start calcium + vit D + neurobion..atlst thats what can say from ur discription,but get an xray done..will surly help..

    • Amardeep Singh doc this is a frequently occuring problem in Labrador pups becomes more prominent with age , wobbler's syndrome .... very common in danes & doberman' too. Lumbosacral nuromuscular coordination seems to be distuebed in it. they say cortico steroid should be tried but no response. ultimately it is to be euthanised.

    • Premal Darji yes..wobblers syndrome may b the possibility..though very common in dobermans ..but surly is one possibility..

    • Gurpreet Singh Chahal Check the coxofemorals properly if u think its only the hind limbs. They can have a severe case of hip dysplasia. I have had several cases
