Hematuria

Sarabjit Singh need some help with a case with 2months old neopolitan mastiff puppy who has a fresh blood in his urine every time he is urinating but eating fine, active and resposive to the call from the owner. what it could be......

    • Saurabh Saxena doc ,if the bright red blood is present at END of micturition,then d source of bleeding is bladder and if blood is presnt thruout urination then bleeding is from ureter or kidney .chk for any accident history from owners.palpate for any bladder tumour ,UA will def. help

    • Swarupmay Majumdar I have a simple suggestion: use antibiotics like Amoxy-clav or Norflox for 15- 21 days with urinary alkalizers like citralka. instead of ethamsylate or butropose, better use Adrenochome -stryptovit . whether there is infection present or not, use anitibiotics for 15-21 days, no stopping before.
