Pulmonary distress abd fluid therapy
Ashwin NambiarHi, i have a question: Presented a case of an adult cat (3.5 kg) with severe respiratory distress accompanied by loud and exaggerated crackling sounds both in the upper as well as lower respiratory tract. Serous nasal discharge also present. All other clinical exam findings are normal. How much of intravenous fluids can be safely given considering there may be pul.oedema? Also is there any particular choice of fluids which should be given?
