Temp 106

Swarupmay Majumdar Cat-5 month female , not in heat, brought with history of silently sitting in one place and not taking food since morning. Temp: 106.2*f, Ln-not enlarged, no oral ulcerations
vaccinations update ,dewroming regularly, fleas notied.
TDX: Viral fever?

    • Swarupmay Majumdar not done, there was no other signs except for higher temp. temp as on yesterday (3rd day) was 104.1*f. we have stopped melonex on 2nd day for fear of renal failure as he stopped urination and put her on iV RL sc+ IV, no steroids as of now, she is eating food. antibiotics: Amoxy clav

    • Padma Yadlapalli thats nice she is eating food; cats tend to only eat food if well :) If I got this right did you say you were giving fluids sc and iv? any reason

    • Swarupmay Majumdar ‎@padma: I used Iv+ sc as the cat was not very co operative after a 100 ml of drips. sc drips was a better options. Its just what I did and wrote ditto.
