Toxocara

Sarabjit Singh A THIRTY DAYS OLD LHASA APSO WAS SUFFERING FROM FREQUENT BOUTS OF VOMIT AND LOOSE MOTIONS. ON THE SECOND DAY BIG ROUND WORM CAME IN VOMIT AFTER ADMINSTRATION OF PHENARGAN DROPS

    • Joseph Cyrus its a Toxocara for sure. this is very common when the worm load is high. ivermectin if the vomiting is severe or pyrantel palmoate orally will do the trick. U need not find eggs in the stools!

    • Swarupmay Majumdar Levamisole S/c also can be used for this purpose. it can be used when the dog has vomiting or loosemotion also. I use it lot and with good sucess.
