Remediation of a dog self-mutilation after surgery

Sarabjit Singh FEMALE GERMAN SHEFFERD UNDERWENT THE CAESARIAN SECTION AND AFTER 7 DAYS THE DOG MANAGES TO CUT THE SUTURES. INTESTINES WERE EXTERIORISED AND SHE MANAGED TO CUT THE INTESTINAL MESENTERY INCLUDING THE INTESTINES, IMEDIATELY THE DOG WAS OPERATED. THE SMALL INTESTINE WAS ANASTOMOSED SUCESSFULLY.

    • Gautam Unny ‎@dr singh, is that vicryl ur using to suture the intestine?? should one not use chronic catgut with a atraumatic needle

    • Sarabjit Singh dr gautam thanks for the comments. first thing is yes its a vicryl and its much better than chromic catgut as its desolution is upto 90 days and doesnt get swelled like catgut. especially its much better option in cases like these.
