Histocytoma

Swarupmay Majumdar a small lump like structure seen on the inner flap of ear for 2 days , slightly elevated from skin, hyperemic without any crusts & scratchings. TDX: Pyogenic granuloma? Warts? MCT? TX: Cephalosporin bid 500mg + Kiskin ointment. adv review after 3 days.

    • Gautam Unny pic not clear but why not just chop it off? clamp it with an artery forcep and use a single stitch below and cut it off.

    • Muthuswamy Anantharaman yeah, histiocytomas can also regress spontaneously. FNA will show sheets of round cells resembling histiocytes.
