colour changing in pup

Gagan Gaudi one of my clients is having a black pug. His
parents are Fawn (Father) and Black (Mother). After attaining few
months of his age the colour of his body hairs suddenly started
changing to greyish white and now at around one and half year of age
70-80% of his body hairs are greyish white. i just wanna now what could be the reason for this and if there is any treatment possible.Thanks in advance.

    I will handle the case in this way.
    1. inform the owner my knowledge on this is not very clear and more than a genetical problem I will try something which is very obvious.
    2.supplements like vit A and fatty acids plays major role in skin conditions and colour, I will advice on supplying these in food.
    3. regular bathing with a harsh shampoo can also change the colour. dog skin ph 7.4 vs human 4.8!! no human shampoo.. no catchy name shapoos.
    4.there is a shampoo for changing light brown colour to dark,I fear thats no more in market.anyone recollects?
    
    My personal experience with skin colour change has been, any chlorhexidine anti yeash shampoo changes coat colour colur. Ridd makes dryness. Protein vitamin shampoo skin itches. Benzyl peroxidase not for puppies. cypermethrin -be cautious on puppies,better never use before 6 months.
