Gagan Gaudi a dachshund 2 and half months of age is showing body movements just like continous hiccups, sound while sleeping or while lying in lateral recumbancy. otherwise active, no fever. could it be distemper?

    • Swarupmay Majumdar CHANGE THE FOOD! some foods causes hiccups which are too salty or spicy or too fatty. A pinch of sugar or liver tonics can also help u. THere is homeoremedy for hiccup. can u recollect?

    • Charlotte Milazzo Puppies having hiccups frequently is normal. It is a spasm of the phrenic nerve.... breath holding etc. works for people because it interrupts the spasms.... too bad we can't tell the pup what to do!
