    • Nassem N. Naimi DICynone is useful in these cases, always keep on checking MM.
try to decide the area that accepted the flood hit so you can estimate the damaged area and maybe the prognosis (look for bruises)

    • Sushil Kumar Paudel sign of Dyspnea also suggests the possibility of Haemothorx or pneumothorax, if still there is dyspnea, its better to inform about the prognosis!

    • Swarupmay Majumdar he is fine now! no issues! Becoz the weight is less, u can always expect less impact on the poor baby! so nothing much to worry now. but it may take a few days for him to be totally fine

With trauma, thoracic rads always worthwhile (conscious if poss, otherwise ket/benzo/oxygen) - particular risks are traumatic carditis, diaphragmatic rupture, tension pneumothorax, lung contusion and intrathoracic bleed. Profound (incompatible with life) dyspnoea and cyanosis - you can sometimes justify sticking a needle in the chest before rads...

Sounds like this dog is fine (could've been pain or spinal shock, btw) but if dyspnoea persists at a level beyond the amount expected for the dog's degree of pain, I'd still consider radiography next.
