    • Swarupmay Majumdar If u present case with more details like the signalment , history..whatsoever more in details , i feel it will easy for more members to comment. I am feeling we need to know about the management and feing habbits of the owners and status of SIBO and EPI! ok although blood tested is it covered up? some animals are also know to be less in weight as the body weight gain is proportional and related to the birth weight and the liiter size. so more history can help

    • Swarupmay Majumdar must be a case of over using for studs or undercare! The dog must be happy in new home. it is noticed to happen in many cases, becoz love is the essence of wellbeing!

    • Saurabh Saxena i agree ,in 3-4 dog house ,they have an alpha male in their grp and tend to intimidate a bit nervous/shy dog ,it is always better to give food separately in such cases or even better ,change the location!!which seemed to worked in this case..

    • Gagan Gaudi no there is no such situation in such case. the dogs are used for stud 2-3 times a month. Dogs are never tied in his home and has free access to every part of his house.

    • Ajitesh Kumar if the appetite is normal or good u can try inj decadurabolin. 3 inj at 1 week interval. along with that good quality food.
      26 June at 16:13 ·
    • Swarupmay Majumdar The side effects of such medications overweighs the benefits of weigt gain. If it is a stud dog, I feel my conciousness wont allow me as a vet to use Decadurabolin at all! anyway, it is used and tried but the weight gain remanins altered for some times. why not try..

    • Gagan Gaudi nandrolone too has been tried. showed a bit improvement after one injection but then back to square 1
      26 June at 16:49 ·
    • Swarupmay Majumdar This is not a very good option, for stud dogs also. becoz of the effects they leave on the next generation and even the animal aslo can suffer liver, kidney problems
