Phenyl toxicity

Swarupmay Majumdar a 75 days old GSD f pup wt-7kg, comes with history of ingesting Phenyl in huge quantity. had many loose green stool and vomiting. any antidote for phenyl??

    Dr. Swarup, i understand, phenyl (household disinfectant) belongs to the group of phenol & Phenolic compounds.

    Swarupmay Majumdar yes, he is fine. It had been going through loose motions. gave drips, rantac, peptocaine syp and gryptol. Fine now.

    Sumit Virmani Can we add activated charcoal to the Rx regime in a similar condition. Say, poisoning of unknown history??
