Its just the same when my old client goes to my nearby vet clinic! But can blame none! becoz it happens in practice! Don get Bogged down with such incidences. Life is Big! We need to save another 1000 s even after these few unfortunates die in our care, so forget and just enjoy your work with more dedication.
Bottom line: The show must go on! with more action , more care and more determinations

It kills your spiritis and like swarup I ues to feel so bad when clients used to chuck me for another vet, but when you look back at the number of live you have saved you know for sure the dog was grateful even if the owner was not. When I left bangalore for good last week, I was overwhelmed at the number of people who came to say bye, It made my profession feel really worthwhile. In these group of people there were dogs which had also died, but they knew it had the best possible care and and they were satisfied. Death I guess has to be understood better by the owners. BUT nevertheless, I hate to loose a pet to anyhting, curable or incurable unless I have explored everything underthe sun. Cheers. It happens and it should not dissuade you to continue the wonderful work you are doing but make it a stepping stone to do better.

    • Sajayan Sahadevan V r doing our best with limited help frm our diagnostic field and Owner's unwillingness to spend much money for treatment( a few Owners never calculate the money spent) .So,indeed v should b proud of ourselves for saving many lives with the limitations in our field. So don't worry abt a very few death if u r satisfied that u put urself 100 percent to save the particular case.Rest s up to God , after all death is a law of nature n all species including Man.
